Isn’t tea bagger what they call themselves? If I’d called them right-wing morons, that would be an insult. It would also be an accurate description of how I view them, but the phrase tea bagger was simply how I thought they referred to themselves, perhaps I’m wrong on that but it wasn’t intended as an insult.
Moreover, making the blanket comment that one needs only to look at the predominant political party to see why the cost of living is so high in California also betrays your deep seated political bias. I trust you’re familiar with California’s weather? Coastline? Topography? Those things do so much more to explain why a 1400 square foot house on Malibu’s coast might cost more than one in Topeka, KS. Then again, how does one explain the housing prices in the GOP stronghold of Orange County?
